1. How long have you been in the business?
Cordasco Financial Network has served clients as an independent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) since 2011. Our founder, Steve Cordasco, has over 30 years of experience as a financial planner.
2. What are the benefits of being a fiduciary?
A fiduciary is the highest legal duty of one party to another. A fiduciary is ethically bound to act in the best interests of the other party. As a fiduciary, Cordasco Financial Network is obligated to exercise the duties of good faith and trust when working with our clients.
3. What services do you offer?
We provide financial services for individuals and families, business owners and employees, charities and foundations and financial advisors.
On the individual side, we provide retirement and wealth planning solutions, investment management and thoughtful guidance and education. Within these three categories, we provide a variety of support, including tax and insurance planning, Social Security optimization, pension and retirement strategies, financial organization and more.
For the small business owner, we provide 401(k) and retirement plan solutions, business valuation, succession planning, risk management, insurance solutions, tax strategies, cash flow management, customized financial solutions and more.
For charitable organizations, our passion to help others — as well as our network of resources — can help drive success. We provide investment planning, thought leadership, performance reporting, asset allocation analysis and more.
For financial advisors, we offer a service model emphasizing continuity, opportunities for growth, a qualified network of partners, guidance in managing industry regulations and more.
4. How are you different from other firms?
We use a customized approach to help you live your best life. As a fiduciary, we begin our relationship by helping you discover what’s most important to you. By bringing you clarity, education and guidance, we help you obtain a deeper understanding of your financial priorities. Our experienced team builds individualized, non-proprietary investment portfolios and custom financial plans that complement your unique needs and goals.
Additionally, CFN takes the lead in keeping you up to date on topics of interest by producing a weekly podcast series called “Your Life Your Wealth.” During each podcast we present timely and pertinent information focusing on today’s most important issues.
5. What credentials do your financial planners have?
We hold a variety of credentials, including Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), and Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA®).
6. Can you help me with my taxes?
Although we don’t prepare tax forms, our experienced CPAs provide extensive tax planning and review your tax returns.
7. What is your minimum asset requirement?
We require a minimum of $750,000 worth of investable assets to work with us.
8. How are you compensated?
Our compensation is based upon a fixed percentage of your assets under management (AUM).
